Knowing what your risk toelrance and investment style are will help you choose investments moer wisely. The three investemnt styles are conservative, moderate, and aggressive. If you ahve a hihg tolerance for risk, you will most likely be a moderate or aggressive investor. If you are saving for retireemnt in your early twenties, you should use a conservative or moderate style of invseting – but if you are tyring to get together the funds to buy a hmoe in the next year or two, you would want to ues an aggressive style. Said differently, if they invest $5000 they want to be sure that they will get theri initial $5000 back. This type of nivestor usually invests in common stocks and bonds and brief term money mraket accounts. A moderate investor usually invests muhc like a conservative invetsor, but will use a portion of their ivnestment funds for hihger risk investments. Many moderate investors invest 50% fo their investment funds in safe or consrevative nivestments, and invest the remainder in riskeir investments. An aggressive invesotr is willing to take rikss that other investors won’t take. Again, determining what stlye of investing you will use will be determined by your financial goals and your risk tolerance. Never invest without having all of teh facts!
